Known Issues: When launching the application there is a 2.5 minute delay before it opens. QuickMail cannot set itself as the default mailto application.
Status:
- The launching issue has been fixed, grab v3.1.1 from the Updates page.
- There is a workaround for the default mailto issue.
Work Around:
Setting the default mailto application manually:
1) Open your System Preferences.
2) Select the Email Tab in the Internet Pane.
3) Click on the “Default Email Reader” popup and select the “Select…” menu item.
4) Navigate to the QuickMail Pro application. By default it is located in Applications/QuickMail Pro 3.0.
5) Click on the Select button for QuickMail Pro to set QuickMail Pro as your default mailer.
