A successful CSI Store Manager may be promoted to Senior Store Manager with responsibility for a larger store or more than one facility. A select number of Senior Store Managers may become trainers or Territory Managers within the CSI organization or with Chevron Products Co.What kind of training will I receive?
You will participate in an in-depth, 3-4 month program that includes both classroom and mentored, on-the-job training at all levels of store employment from customer service representative to assistant manager to manager.What experience is needed?
It is helpful, although not required, to have prior retail experience, particularly in the gasoline or convenience store industry.What kind of experience will I get?
As a CSI Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing a retail facility that generates $2.5 - $4.5 million in annual sales. You will become proficient in convenience store merchandising, sales and inventory management, convenience food service, customer service and customer relations, safety and environmental compliance regulations, gasoline merchandising, cash handling, retail accounting procedures, business computer skills, facility image and operations, as well as employee recruitment, hiring, training and motivation. Plus, you will be associated with one of the most highly respected brands in the retail gasoline industry -- Chevron. With this experience, you will be qualified for any number of retail career opportunities, both within CSI and elsewhere.
